We have an offer today from Redbox to get a free one-night DVD rental with the coupon code provided. To get this deal you have to apply the coupon code “BREAKROOM” at your local Redbox Kiosk. Once you enter the coupon code into the Redbox kiosk the discount should show on your total and give you the free DVD of your choice. There’s no information on when this deal expires or if it’s for all of the available DVD’s. It’s for just a one-night rental and can’t be applied as a free day for multi-day rentals, to Blu-rays, or for kiosks with video games. If you don’t know where a kiosk is in your area then you can search for kiosks on the Redbox website.

It’s nice that they’re offering these coupon codes, but I don’t think a free movie rental every once in awhile is enough to entice me to start using Redbox again. I have a service that gives me more options for and is really affordable too. I feel like since my employer, DISH, released Blockbuster @Home it’s really rounded out my entertainment choices. I get unlimited by-mail rentals for both movies and games, I can take them into a Blockbuster store to exchange them, and I also get instant streaming, and a bunch of HD movie channels. It’s awesome for movie buffs!
