Boy Genius Report App – for those who don’t want to access the mobile version of the website you can always read the Boy Genius Report via this iPhone app. BGR is one of the leading authorities online for phones including news, reviews, and more.

Tech News Tube App – an iPhone app that syndicates many of the top tech news places online including TechCrunch, Venture Beat, CNET, GigaOM, Mashable, and many others. Sprint Buyback Deal to Save Big While Going Green

Sprint has offered their Buyback program for awhile now where according to their website you can get up to $300 back for each qualifying phone you sell back to them. The Buyback program is pretty simple, you just take any phone you have (even from other carriers) and trade it into Sprint for account credits. There’s no information on which phone is exactly worth the maximum $300 in the buyback program but from what I’ve heard most phones go closer to the $100 range than $300.

The newest deal through the Sprint Buyback program is that you not only can get up to a $300 account credit for trading in your old phone but they’re also offering $50 towards a new line activation as well. This means that if you’re trading in a phone while getting a new line from Sprint you can be up $350 before you even make your first payment. The account credits and new lines are good for any phones as well as tablets and Wi-Fi hotspots they offer. The Buyback program is always open but the $50 credit deal for new lines expires on May 17th, so take advantage of it now if interested. The iPhone and Android phones today seems to be able to do just about everything imaginable. You can now add laser tag to the list as the AppTag has taken care of that. The AppTag app and accessories allow you to turn any room or large area into a laser tag arena and even has features included that are found in most popular first person shooters. One of the best parts of the AppTag is that it’s built on a platform meaning that IOS and Android developers can take advantage of the platform to build new interactive games.

The phone attachment works by a simple clip then integrates through high frequency sound and infrared technology which means little to no drain on your battery. Once inside the app it turns your world into a huge game of laser tag where you can shoot at the other competitors, pick up health, zoom with a scope, reload with the reload switch on top, pick up new weapons, GPS location of teammates, and much more. The AppTagg was designed in a way that it doesn’t cover up the main functions of the phone which give you access to the sound which can be used for in-game walkie-talkies and sound effects. The design also allows you to keep your case on as it was made compatible with all leading case brands. The AppTagg blaster can be attached to many different models of both Nerf and Buzzbee blasters to give another aspect to the game.

The Dot achieves the panoramic video with just a simple snap on attachment and the help of their app to make sure the videos work right. The lens is an iCONIC lens which is durable and compatible with all of the latest iPhone version. The lens works in real-time so there is no stitching the pictures together but instead giving you a genuine interactive panoramic experience. The lens gives you good quality video as it’s fully AR-coated and the rest runs of the iPhone’s 8MP/1080p camera. The Dot requires no external battery or other tools to function which is a huge plus since most of the time you will be usign the feature in an area where the last thing you want is more wires and batteries to put up with. The Dot also comes with a pouch for carrying the lens which doubles as a microfiber cloth for cleaning the lens before use.

Amazon has just announced a new deal for their Android marketplace which will get you a $1 Amazon MP3 store credit for each paid app you purchase. All of the paid apps within their online marketplace start at 99 cents. All of these apps are for Android devices only. You have to purchase the app by June 30th. Once you purchase the app you will get an email indicating that the credit has been applied to your account. Once the credit is attached you can claim this credit for any song or album within their MP3 music store by July 31st. So if you’re planning to buy an app you might as well take advantage of getting some free credits.
