The Marina Sands Bay in Singapore is a much anticipated luxury resort and casino that recently opened with a soft-launch but most of the talk about the resort is about the infinity pool and exotic top-level landing called the Sands Sky Park. The Marina Sands Bay didn’t come cheap as construction costs finalized at around $5.5 billion American dollars but good news for the Sands Resorts chain is that the resort is estimated to bring in about a billion dollars a year. Aside from the rooftop pool 55 stories up you can check out the over 1,600 slot machines, canal rides in the first-class shopping center, or in 2011 catch a show such as the Broadway musical The Lion King. According to their official website rooms start at $339 a night. They have very positive reviews on some of the top travel websites including TripAdvisor where they currently have a four out of five.
